Between
6-10 people attended the safety seminar from Sioux Falls and a suggestion was

continue to host a safety seminar.
Motion: Glen Terry moved to have the MBA host a safety seminar within the next twelve months. George Ibach seconded the motion. The motion was passed.
Dave
Johnson will chair the development of the safety seminar. All present are willing to commit to
contributing toward the seminar. Matt
Wiedekehr and Jim Wiersgalla will be asked if they are interested in committing
to the preparation of the 2001 MBA Safety Seminar.
A
letter will be drafted and sent to the Sioux Falls Balloon Club stating the MBA
will host a safety seminar.
With the exception of the frigid conditions, Aamodt’s Apple Orchard was well attended and liked. Other suggestions included the Hudson House Inn, various community centers, perhaps in Rochester. Glen Terry and Roger Adams emphasized it would be advantageous to hold the safety seminar in a different location each year.
No
location was determined until discussions occur with the MBA membership.
Motion:
Glen Terry moved to have the MBA host the safety seminar between the dates of
3/10/01 to 4/10/01. George Ibach
