In attendance: Gary and Ruth Gruba, Bill Marhoun, Betty Henneberg, Wynn Gustafson, Dan Dobson, Glen Terry, George Ibach, Dave Johnson, Craig Richardt, James Wiersgalla, Matt Wiederkehr, Jim Borchert, Kevin Knapp, David Bracht, Becky Pope, Roger Adams, Scott Adams, John Lewis, and Jake Hamlin.
A motion was made by Dan Dobson to accept the report. Kevin Knapp seconded the motion and the treasurer’s report was adopted.
A motion was made by Roger Adams to accept the report. Glen Terry seconded the motion and the secretary’s report was adopted.
The seminar is scheduled for Saturday, April 1 at Aamodt’s Apple Farm and Winery. The cost for registration at the door is $45.00. A social gathering will occur on Friday, March 31 beginning at 7:00p.m. at the same location.
A request for ideas MBA social gatherings was made. Kevin Knapp offered that a St. Louis organization has an annual "Cardinals" night.
A motion to close the nominations was made by Gary Gruba. The motion was seconded by Becky Pope and passed by the membership.

Bill Marhoun (Ellsworth, WI) presented information about an event to be held September 30-October 1, 2000 in Beldenville, WI. Food, propane, and refreshments will be provided. The event will be held on a 23 acre tract of land owned by John Lewis. Contact Bill Marhoun at (715) 792-2181 or bmarhoun@pressenter.com for additional details.
C. Fishing Trophy.
A motion was made by Matt Wiederkehr to obtain the "Fishing Trophy." George Ibach seconded the motion and the motion was passed.
D. Fly and Fish Event.
Discussion was tabled regarding the date to hold a fly and fish event on the St. Croix River pending availability of participants. Thus, the MBA is requesting feedback to determine which of the following three dates the largest number of pilots, crew, and balloon enthusiasts could attend. The dates are:
Saturday, May 13
Saturday, May 20 (Anoka Aviation Days, Glen Terry is looking for pilots, crew, and/or balloons to be present for a few hours)
Saturday, June 3
A date and additional details will be determined at the April 17 meeting of the MBA.
