Previous minutes were accepted.

Treasurer’s Report: $2,963.99

• Friday Night activities will be held at the YMCA site. The Comfort Inn cannot be a staging/reception area, but rooms are available there for $50/single and $55/double. Ask for the MN Ballooning Association rate.
• Lighting is a concern at the YMCA site since it is pretty dark out there. We’ll try to string white Christmas lights along the path. Any help from 2pm on would be appreciated since there will be lights to put up, signs to post, etc.
• The BFA has tentatively given their approval for the seminar. Dave Johnson will take care of the final paperwork necessary for final approval.
• Dave Johnson will request BFA materials to have on hand. He will also check on books on powerlines/propane.
• Food will be provided for Friday night. Dave Johnson will pick up meat, buns & pop. Becky Pope and Annette Niedere will take care of salads, veggies, desserts, etc. The YMCA will provide snacks for Saturday.
• Glen Terry is working on the agenda and speakers. He will coordinate details with AHTC. He will also talk to them about first aid kids for balloons and chase vehicles.
• The possibility of video taping the seminar was discussed. Dave Johnson will talk to Matt Wiederkehr and Curt Shippy will talk to Rose Eakins about her son-in-law possibly doing it.
• Annette Niedere will make certificates, nametags and stickers for packets. She will also work on copying and collating packets of info for attendees. Becky Pope will get the folders.
• Dave Johnson has some door prizes and Becky Pope has been making phone calls for more prizes/gift certificates.

• "Discover Aviation Days" will be at the Anoka County Airport in late May. There is a meeting that Becky Pope will try to attend to gather more information. It might be a good opportunity to generate some interest in ballooning.
• The Stanton Airport in Northfield holds a fly-in breakfast in June. Annette Niedere will get more info on that.
• An idea for another training session/monthly meeting would be to hold a trailer seminar (packing bearings, safety chains, etc.) Curt Shippy will possibly be in charge of that.

The next meeting will be held on Saturday, April 12^th after the Safety Seminar at the YMCA camp.
