What's Happening? 1.) The MBA Safety Seminar Committee has decided to redirect their energy this year and not have a safety seminar in the Spring of 2007. The present committee has worked on the past seven seminars and needs a break. They expressed their willingness to help someone else step up to the plate. It has been mentioned that an MBA organized long jump or other activity would be a welcome change. 2.) The MBA has a new Board as elected by the members. Mike Lesmeister was elected President. Kim Dickey was elected to her 4th year as secretary (in a temporary capacity) and Glen Terry will continue as Treasurer. 3.) Membership fees are due for 2007. Individual membership is $20.00, add $10.00 for each additional family member. 4.) The MBA Board has decided to add Balloon Ride Operation links to the web site. The MBA will charge an annual fee of $25 for members ($60 non-members) for their links to be included. This page will be updated on an annual basis in January. This fee is currently being waved for members. ![]() Click to Preview! 7.) Flying Areas. We would like to encourage pilots to fly in a variety of areas in Minnesota.
